International Speech Contest and Evaluation Contest

Bruce Toastmasters Club's International Speech and Evaluation Contests were held on 17 February 2010. Congratulations to first place getters in the International Speech contest Mike and Evaluation contest Rosalie.

Bruce Club Hosts Area 17 Contests August 2009

Bruce Toastmasters Club hosted the Area 17 Table Topics and Humorous Speech Contests on Saturday, 22 August 2009.  The winners from the contests will go on to compete in the Monara Division Contests on 19 September. 

Distinguished Club Award

Bruce Toastmasters Club was awarded the Distinguished Club for 2008-09 by Toastmasters International.

 Bruce Toastmasters Celebrated 20 Years on 1st March 2009

A barbeque lunch was held at Weston Park on Sunday 1st March 2009 to celebrate the Club's 20th anniversary.   We were pleased to welcome founding members and long term friends, including Kevin and Michelle Norton and David Grantham, together with past  and present Club members.

- Club Contest - December 2008:

 International Speech Contest - 1st Place Jenny Wright

Evaluation Contest - 1st Place Kevin Ranclaud.  Kevin represented the Club at the Area 17 Evaluation Contest on 22 February 2009 and performed very well.    

 - Club Contest Held on 25th June 2008:

Table Topics - 1st place Kevin Ranclaud, 2nd Andrew Wirth, 3rd Maryanne Picker.

Humorous Speech - 1st Mike McDonald, 2nd Eileen Catanzariti, 3rd Andrew Wirth.

Thank you to chief judge Area 17 Governor Keiko Wakamatsu.

- Club Contest held in September 2007:

Mike McDonald won the Club's Table Topics Contest and went on to win the Monaro Division Contest on 13 October. 2007  Congratulations Mike! Mike represented the  Monaro Division at the District 70 contest in Sydney on 17th November 2007.
